Each output format brings its own options — a quality slider, a background colour for formats without transparency, a colour count for GIF, the sizes packed into an .ico, and a choice between tracing to real vector shapes or embedding the original pixels for SVG. Convert one image or a whole batch, then download each file or all of them as a ZIP. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded and it keeps working offline.
How to use Image converter

- Choose the output format — Pick PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP, ICO or SVG as the target for every image in the batch.
- Set the format's options — Adjust the quality slider, the background colour behind transparency, the number of colours, the sizes inside the .ico, or how the SVG is produced.
- Resize if you need to — Fit within a maximum width and height, or scale by a percentage. Vector sources also get an explicit width, so an SVG can be rasterised as large as you like.

Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded during conversion?
No. Conversion runs entirely in your browser, so your files stay on your device and the tool keeps working offline after the first load.
Which formats can it read and write?
It reads PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP, SVG, AVIF, HEIC/HEIF and ICO, and writes PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP, ICO and SVG. TIFF is not supported yet — a TIFF you add is skipped with a message rather than failing quietly. AVIF can be read but not written: no browser can create an AVIF file from a web page, so it is not offered as an output format.
Does converting to SVG give a real vector file?
In trace mode, yes: the picture is redrawn as vector shapes that scale to any size, and you control how many colours and how much detail it keeps. Logos, flat artwork and screenshots trace best, while photographs come out posterised. Embed mode instead wraps the original pixels inside an SVG — exact, but it does not scale like a true vector. An SVG converted to SVG is simply copied unchanged.
Is animation preserved?
No. Animated GIFs and animated WebP files are flattened to their first frame, and the row for that image says so before you download it.
What sizes go into an .ico file?
You choose. 16, 32 and 48 pixels are ticked by default because that is what Windows and browser tabs expect, and 64, 128 and 256 are available too. Every size you tick is packed into the same .ico.
What happens to transparency in JPG and BMP?
Neither format can store transparency, so transparent pixels are filled with a background colour before encoding. White is the default and you can change it to any colour first.
Can I convert several images at once?
Yes. Add a batch, convert everything to the chosen format, and download the results together as a ZIP.
Tips
- Convert HEIC to JPG or PNG so an iPhone photo opens on any device.
- WebP gives smaller files than JPG at similar quality — handy for the web.
- Trace a logo to SVG with a low colour count: fewer colours means cleaner shapes and a much smaller file.
- Give a vector an explicit width before converting to PNG — an SVG can be rasterised far larger than its nominal size.
